| The highly successful Llanwrtyd Wells food and drink festival, with demonstrations by award winning chefs, entertainment and a fantastic selection of food and drink. | |
| 07/07/2007 | World Mountain Bike Bog Snorkelling Championships |
| This unique event takes place in the Waen Rhydd peat bog on the outskirts of Llanwrtyd. Competitors cycle two lengths of the 60 yard long, 4 foot deep trench using a specially weighted mountain bike and a snorkel. | |

| A 7.5 mile run, followed by 120 yard doggy paddle throught the Waen Rhydd bog and a 19 mile cycle ride. Sponsored by Young's bitter, with mementoes and prizes for entrants, including a weekend visit to their famous Ram Brewery. | |

| A festival to shake off the winter! Takes place in the town's superb pubs, with a selection of wonderful Real Ales and live music. Bring an instrument, join in the Sunday lunchtime jam session and make merry! | |

| The annual 22 mile trial of runners against horses. Run in relay teams of 3 or individually. Can two legs beat four for the third time? | |
| 12/01/2007 to 14/01/2007 | Saturnalia Beer Festival |
| Saturnalia was a Roman festival held to ensure the return of the Sun after the winter months. In typical Llanwrtyd Wells style, the present day celebrations include a weekend beer festival and Saturnalia Ramble and Wobble (walks and cycle routes) with complimentary beer at various checkpoints. | |

| A friendly festival held in the towns pubs. The Stonecroft Inn has over 50 real ales to choose from, with a similar quantity at the Neuadd Arms. Accommodation is limited, please book in advance | |
| 17/11/2007 to 18/11/2007 | The Real Ale Wobble |
| In conjunction with the Beer Festival. 15,25 or 40 mile waymarked routes each day, all off road. Free beers provided at checkpoints. | |

| Featuring sheep dog trials, horses, various competitions and displays, as well as afternoon potted sports. There's also a bar if the heat gets to much! | |
| 18/09/2007 to 21/09/2007 | Welsh International 4 day walks |
| Attracting visitors from all over the world, there are three routes to choose from each day. The walks are non-competitive, but medals are given to all those who complete the four selected walks, along with some other awards. | |

| 23/06/2007 | The Drovers Walk |
| These walks follow in the footsteps of the Drovers of old who used to drive their sheep, cattle or geese across the mountains to the market towns of England and Wales. Choice of 10, 15 or 25 mile waymarked routes, starting from the town square. Every year, an old Drovers inn is reopened, and will serve you throughout the day. | |
| 24/11/2007 to 25/11/2007 | The Real Ale Ramble |
| In conjunction with the Beer Festival. A choice of waymarked routes with free beer provided at the checkpoints. All finishers are awarded a medal or badge. | |
| 27/08/2007 | World Bog Snorkelling Championships |
| The event takes place in the Waen Rhydd bog outside Llanwrtyd. Using only doggy paddle, snorkel and flippers, the contestants must swim 120 yards (2 x 60 yard lengths) through a 4 foot deep trench. Lot's of prizes and great media coverage, maybe it could be your turn to be famous! | |

| A torch lit walk through the town, starting at 11pm and returning to the square in time for the celebrations. | |
